In 2018, Little Angels Trust took a bold step of faith and built a Respite Center at the Accra Psychiatric Hospital—a safe haven where children can laugh, play, and simply be children, even in the midst of their challenges. It was not an easy journey; gathering funds, securing approvals, and pushing through countless hurdles was a true test of our resolve. But with perseverance, faith, and the support of incredible individuals, we made it happen.
One of those special supporters was Patrona Lawrencia Simpson, a devoted patron of Little Angels Trust, whose encouragement and commitment helped bring this vision to life. Today, the Respite Center is alive with laughter, hope, and purpose—just as we dreamed it would be.
This August, as we celebrate Patrona Lawrencia’s birthday, Little Angels Trust will be hosting a joyful celebration in her honour at the Respite Center. It is not just about marking another year of her life, but about celebrating her impact and the love she continues to share with children in need.
